This means that the previous hirer did not manage to pump sufficient fuel before returning the vehicle. 

To prove that the fuel indicator lights up (suggesting low fuel) during collection, please take a photo of the dashboard which shows this and report the issue (by clicking on Issue Report on your Account page) within 5 minutes of starting the ignition.

After the investigations, should we confirm that the previous hirer indeed did not return the vehicle with sufficient fuel, we will write to you to provide the relevant compensation for pumping extra fuel during your trip.

Do ensure that you return the vehicle with sufficient fuel for the next user so that you will not be penalised for low fuel upon return.
