To appeal against the fine charged to you, please respond to the fine email with your evidences attached. Evidences can be in any form/type that is sufficient for your appeal (e.g. photos, videos, fuel receipts, timestamps).
The relevant team will have it reviewed. All appeals are subjected to approval. Should we find your evidence sufficient, your appeal will then be successful.
Tip: Best practice is to always keep your fuel receipts by taking a full photo of it (before disposing it).
Additional attention to these vehicles required:
Please note that the Toyota DYNA, Toyota Prius C, Toyota Vios, Mitsubishi Attrage and Daihatsu Sirion are cars with the dashboard showing a blinking fuel bar when it is on reserve fuel. To appeal for such cases, please provide a video showing that the last fuel bar is not blinking and/or a photo showing at least 2 fuel bars available (upon vehicle return).
For BMW models, there are 2 ways to identify that the fuel indicator light is on:
- Check Control Indicator (Triangle symbol in white) appearing indicates that the fuel is already in its reserve level. The triangle symbol will turn orange once it is extremely low on fuel.
- A 'Fuel reserve' text appears when you start the vehicle. This message disappears after a few seconds and returns to the odometer readings.
