1. What is a Gogoro Motorcycle?

A Gogoro Motorcycle is a fully electric smart scooter designed for efficient and eco-friendly commuting. It operates using a dual-battery system and the Gogoro battery-swapping network, allowing riders to exchange depleted batteries for fully charged ones at GoStations within seconds. This removes the need for home charging and provides a convenient, low-maintenance experience for daily travel.

2. What category does the Gogoro Motorcycle fall under?

The Gogoro Motorcycle is classified under the Standard EV Motorcycle category on Tribecar.

3. How does the Gogoro Motorcycle battery-swapping system work?

Instead of waiting to charge, riders simply:

  1. Ride to any authorised GoStation.

  2. Insert the depleted batteries.

  3. Collect fully charged batteries and continue riding.

The process typically takes under one minute and eliminates charging downtime.

4. How far can a Gogoro Motorcycle travel on a full charge?

A full battery provides up to 100 kilometres of range, depending on riding conditions, load, speed and rider behaviour.

5. Does the battery deplete when the Gogoro Motorcycle is not in use?

Yes. The battery naturally self-discharges at approximately 3 percent per day even when the Gogoro Motorcycle is not being ridden.

6. When should I perform a battery swap?

It is recommended to swap the batteries when the remaining range reaches approximately 20 kilometres. Gogoro Motorcycle may enter a protective shutdown before reaching zero kilometres, especially under heavier loads, uphill riding or high-speed travel.

7. Can I use the Gogoro Motorcycle for food delivery?

Yes. The Gogoro Motorcycle can be used for food and goods delivery services such as GrabFood, Foodpanda and Deliveroo. Riders must comply with all traffic regulations and safety requirements.

8. Do I need to replace both batteries together?

Yes. Gogoro Motorcycles require both batteries to be swapped at the same time. Single-battery swaps are not allowed.

9. What is the mileage charge for the Gogoro Motorcycle under the Standard EV Motorcycle category?

Mileage for the Standard EV Motorcycle category is charged at SGD 0.12 per kilometre (inclusive of GST).

10. Do I need to return the Gogoro Motorcycle with full batteries?

The Gogoro Motorcycle does not need to be returned with full batteries, but it must be returned with at least 50 percent battery level. Riders may perform a swap at any GoStation before ending the trip.

11. What happens if I return the Gogoro Motorcycle with less than 50 percent battery?

An administrative fee of SGD 38.15 (inclusive of GST) will be imposed if the Gogoro Motorcycle is returned with a battery level below 50 percent.

12. What is the minimum booking duration for the Standard EV Motorcycle category?

As of now, the minimum booking duration is 24 hours (1 day). After the first 24 hours, additional hours will be charged using the hourly rate.

13. What is the replacement cost if a battery pack is lost or damaged?

A replacement fee of SGD 1,090 (inclusive of GST) applies if a battery pack is lost, stolen or damaged due to negligence.

16. What happens if the Gogoro Motorcycle stops due to low battery?

Stop riding safely and contact Tribecar immediately. Riders should not continue operating the Gogoro Motorcycle if any system warning or abnormal behaviour appears.

Battery packs are not covered under insurance. The Hirer is fully liable for the replacement cost if a battery is lost, stolen or damaged due to negligence.

Yes. Riders should always swap when the range is around 20 kilometres to prevent shutdown, especially when carrying heavier loads or riding uphill.

23. Can I park the Gogoro Motorcycle anywhere after my rental?

No. Riders must return the Gogoro Motorcycle to the designated Tribecar parking location stated in the booking instructions.

24. What should I do if all batteries at a GoStation are low or unavailable?

Please proceed to the next nearest GoStation. Battery availability varies during peak hours. We recommend swapping batteries before your range reaches around 20 km. You can check your range by pressing the trip button on the right side of the bike handle to switch from ODO to Range.

25. Can I use the Gogoro Motorcycle lane-splitting or for high-speed expressway travel?

Gogoro Motorcycles can be used on all roads where a 2B Motorcycle is legally allowed. Riders must obey all traffic rules and speed limits.

26. Can I leave the Gogoro Motorcycle unused for several days?

It is not recommended. Gogoro batteries naturally self-discharge by approximately 3 percent per day, which may result in low battery or shutdown if left unused for extended periods.

27. Where can I check my battery level and estimated range?

The battery percentage and estimated remaining range are displayed on the Gogoro Motorcycle’s dashboard.

28. Are there any age or experience requirements to share the Gogoro Motorcycle?
