CDW or Collision Damage Waiver, may be offered to the Hirer as a means to reduce the Non-waivable Excess collectable when the Hirer meets with an accident. The reduced Non-waivable Excess is listed in table 8a (of Terms & Conditions). CDW does not apply for accidents when the vehicle is written off or treated as total loss (e.g. beyond economical repair).
The excess amount must be paid to Tribecar or its appointed representative, without demand, within 48 hours from the accident date/time regardless of which party is at fault. Tribecar will determine at its sole discretion when to refund the collected excess amount if at all applicable.
