As some vehicle models require a minimum of 6L fuel top-up for the fuel gauge to react, we'd like to recommend all hirers to pump a minimum of one-time 6L top-up for all vehicles.
Although it is not a must, this is what we highly encourage so that all hirers will be able to return the car without any reserve fuel indicator light on and/or receive any fuel penalty.
Tip: Pump fuel when you Start Trip (instead of before you End Trip) so that it gives the fuel gauge sufficient time to load! Before ending the trip, take a photo of the dashboard with the fuel receipt on the side and upload it onto your End Trip photos!
Generally, Honda vehicles & the Subaru Outback's fuel gauge needs a one-time top-up of at least 6L of fuel for the fuel gauge to react when the fuel indicator is lighted. Watch the video here to find out more!
