1. Can I use PayNow to top up my Tribecar e-wallet?
Yes. We are currently trialing PayNow as a top up method. During this phase, PayNow is available for top ups of $200 and above.
2. Why don’t I see the PayNow option?
If your top up amount is below $200, only Credit or Debit Card payment methods will be shown.
The PayNow option will appear automatically when you select a top up amount of $200 or more.
We are working to expand PayNow to all top up amounts soon. Stay tuned for updates.
3. How do I top up using PayNow?
Log in to your Tribecar account and go to the E-wallet page.
Tap Top Up and select $200 or more.
Choose PayNow as your payment method.
A QR code will appear. Tap Allow when prompted to save it to your gallery.
Open your banking app and upload the saved QR code to complete payment.
Return to the Tribecar app to see the confirmation: “Payment was successful.”
PayNow QR allows payments to be completed instantly by scanning or uploading a QR code through participating banking apps.
4. Is there a fee for using PayNow?
Tribecar does not charge any additional fees for PayNow top ups.
Note: Your bank’s standard transfer policies or limits may apply. PayNow transfers follow your bank’s transfer limits and security requirements.
5. My PayNow payment was successful, but my e-wallet balance hasn’t updated. What should I do?
Payments are typically processed instantly, but please allow a short moment for system synchronisation.
If your balance does not update within 5 minutes:
Do not repeat the transaction immediately
Take a screenshot of your bank transaction receipt showing the reference number
