This means that the previous hirer did not manage to pump sufficient fuel before returning the vehicle.


Fuel Compensation

To prove that the fuel indicator lighted up (suggesting low fuel) upon vehicle collection, please:

1. take a photo of the vehicle's dashboard upon starting the ignition which shows the fuel indicator lighted

2. report the issue (by clicking on Issue Report on your Account page) within 15 minutes of your Start Trip time

 

After investigations, should we confirm that the previous hirer indeed did not return the vehicle with sufficient fuel, we will write to you to provide a compensation of S$25 for the extra fuel pumped during your trip.


Please ensure that you return the vehicle with sufficient fuel for the next user!

IMPORTANT NOTES


1. For vehicles under the Car Club categories, if the fuel drops below ¼ level during your booking, you are required to refuel the vehicle to a full tank. If the fuel does not drop below ¼ level during your booking, please ensure that there is sufficient fuel (more than ¼ tank) upon return. Should you need to refuel, please use the provided fleet cards in the vehicle (Shell fleet card to be used at Shell kiosks | Esso fleet card to be used at Esso kiosks).


The following penalties will be imposed if the hirer has committed the following (before GST):


Failure to refuel when fuel is less than ¼ tank (First Offense, for Car Club Select/Prime (Fuel-Included) category)

Failure to refuel when fuel is less than ¼ tank (Second Offense onwards for Car Club Select/Prime (Fuel-Included) category)

Lost or damaged fleet card (Reported during booking)

Lost or damaged fleet card (Did not report)

Misuse of fleet card (i.e. use of fleet card for refuel when no booking was made)
