Why am I charged a Platform Fee?
Starting from 3 October 2025, we will be charging Platform Fees which will be replacing the Payment Gateway Fees scheme. This fee is charged on a per booking basis and it is used to help defray the cost of processing your transaction whenever you make a booking.
At the same time, we are introducing new benefits that come with Platform Fee to enhance your car-sharing experience. For more information, please click here.
Fee Structure
The Platform Fee is applied based on your total booking amount, as shown below. All fees are inclusive of 9% GST.
For bookings above S$299.99, an additional $1.31 (inclusive of 9% GST; $1.20 before GST) will be added for every subsequent $100 or part thereof.
When is the Platform Fee Not Charged?
No Platform Fee will be incurred if your final booking amount is $0. This typically occurs for:
Corporate Bookings
Bookings fully covered by a Voucher Code
Subscription Plan bookings utilizing free hours
Examples of Fee Calculation
Example: Normal Booking
If your booking amount is $150, a $2.62 Platform Fee (inclusive of 9% GST) will apply.
Where a booking is extended, the Platform Fee shall be charged based on the final total amount after such extension. No additional Platform Fee shall be payable if the final booking amount remains within the same fee tier as the original booking. Additional Platform Fees shall only be levied where the final total booking amount moves into the next fee tier.
Example: Booking Extension (Change in Fee Tier)
The Platform Fee is always charged based on the final total amount after any extension. When you extend your booking, the total amount is recalculated to determine if an additional Platform Fee is required.
Initial booking: $10, initial fee paid = $1.31 (incl. 9% GST)
After extension, total booking = $201, new total fee required = $3.92 (incl. 9% GST)
Additional fee required = $$3.92 - $1.31 = $2.61 (incl. 9% GST)
